September 2008 Meeting | Gretchen Cook gave us a lively and useful presentation on ways to organize our lives. Gretchen's approach was different from what you usually hear on this topic. The usual approach is to suggestion more efficient ways to handle tasks. Gretchen, however, approaches organization from the the source: our thinking. She shows us how to change our thinking to live more efficiently by freeing ourselves from all kinds of clutter. According to Gretchen, this clutter may be papers, books, or any interrupters in our lives. | | |

Bette Breland's presentation, "Ice Breakers and Other Fun Things To Do," had ASTD members involved and laughing as she took us through a few of her favorite energizers. In addition to having fun, we learned interesting things about our members and took away ideas for use in our own training.
