An Extended Learning Conversation

So You Want To Be A Trainer

I am constantly amazed at the perception that those outside the performance management arena have of trainers and the training process. “Anyone can be a trainer,” they say. “All it takes is the ability to stand before an audience and make a presentation.” Who have these geniuses been presenting to?  Certainly not the WIIFM (what’s in it for me?) adult learner that we, as professional trainers, encounter.
